Probiotics are now generally recognised and accepted as beneficial for digestive health. Probiotics provide good bacteria to populate the digestive systsem of the body and
it is these bacteria the assist in digestion and absorption of food and nutrients consumed. At the same time the good bacteria assist in the elimination and evacuation of
harmful bacteria, substances and toxins from the entire digestive system.
A good probiotic should have the following properties:

Krill oils are obtained from krills. Krill is the common name given to the order Euphausiacea of shrimp-like marine crustaceans. Also known as euphausiids, these small
invertebrates are found in all oceans of the world. The common name krill comes from the Norwegian word krill, meaning "young fry of fish", which is also often attributed to
other species of fish.
Traditional trawling is unsuitable for krill harvesting. The Antarctic krill holds very potent digestive enzymes, and it basically self-destructs before it can be processed.
It is therefore important that econ-harvesting of Krill is practised. The krill is taken into the ship underneath along with the ocean water so that it is not exposed to
air or the atmosphere that causes it to disintegrate. Eco Harvesting means the equipment stays under water while a continuous stream of water flows through the hose, bringing
the live and fresh krill directly onto the factory vessel. This allows for processing of fresh raw material directly onboard the floating Life Science Factory, which again
means bioactive components are retained for superior product quality. Eco-harvesting also ensures that the population is not over harvested depleting stocks for whale and fish food and
allowing the krill population to recover.
Krill Oil provides omega-3 in phospholipid form, mainly as phosphatidylcholine. Omega-3 availability is increased when delivered by phospholipids compared with other sources,
due to more efficient absorption of omega-3 phospholipids in the small intestine. On the other hand, the Omega-3 from fish oil is in triglyceride form which is not soluble in
blood whereas phospholipids are. Therefore bioavailability of krill oil is superior to fish oil.

Glucosamine is an amino sugar and a prominent precursor in the biochemical synthesis of glycosylated proteins and lipids. Glucosamine is part of the structure of the
