OSUMEX NON-INVASIVE URINE TESTING KITS
HEAVY METAL TEST KITS
The Osumex Testing kits are non-invasive urine testing kits. They are also suitable to test any other reasonably clear solutions where
appropriate to do so. The kits are all simple to use at home with full instructions given in the kits. However, the user is recommended
to read through the instructions first to fully understand the steps required to prepare the solution for testing and then to use the test.
This will avoid doing it incorrectly and wasting the kit. If there are any uncertainties after reading the instructions, please contact
Osumex and a customer representative will be happy to assist.
Test for Heavy Metals

These kits are suitable for testing any clear soltuions such as water, uirne, or others. There are 2 types of kits:
- HMT General kits - The General kits can test a range of 8 heavy metals namely:
CADMIUM, COBALT, COPPER, LEAD, MANGANESE, MERCURY, NICKEL, ZINC
However, they are not quantitative tests in that it does not give readings to parts per million and also only the metal with the
highest concentration of ions in the sample solution will finally show. It does indicate if there are more than one of the 8 metals
tested present in the sample solution. It is therefore a good preliminary test if the user is only interested to find out if any of
the 8 metals is present in the sample solution.
- HMT Specific kits - The Specific kits test an individual metal in a given sample solution accurately giving results in parts
per million (ppm). There are kits to test 15 different metals, namely:
ALUMINIUM, ARSENIC, CADMIUM, CHROMIUM, COBALT, COPPER, IRON, LEAD, MANGANESE, MERCURY, MOLYBDENUM, SILVER, TIN and
ZINC
The user uses saliva only if the user wishes to test for mercury or other metals that may be leaking from any amalgam deental fillings.
Otherwise, to test for heavy metals in the body, the user should use urine as the sample soltuion to be tested.

HM-CHELAT - gentle EDTA Oral Chelator
Osumex HM-Chelat is used for the extraction and removal of heavy metal ions based on polyaminopolycarbonic acid (DiCalciumEDTA), its physiological digestive sales
and stabilized oxygen electrolyte in distilled water. It is a very gentle EDTA chelator, so gentle that even babies six months or older can use.
HM-Chelat is easier to administer than most chelators. A program of between 6 - 12 months is suggested for an appreciable reduction of the heavy metals load. This is
done without disturbance to the vital metals minerals balance that is essential for the proper healthy state of the body. A first mobilization of heavy metal ions out
of the body can and often do cause serious side effects, so by doing it gently, the side effects are generally not felt significantly.
Hm-Chelat is non-toxic and works through the creation of a magnetic gradient in the blood after it has been absorbed follwing ingestion. The heavy metal ions "floating
freely" in the blood are neutraized and bound up by HM-Chelat. This causes a "vacuum" in the blood, ie., free of heavy metal ions, which then cause a "pull" on heavy metal
ions trapped in the tissues and organs of the body to be released. Through this process the heavy metals load is slowly and surely eliminated.

FREE RADICAL TEST KIT
The Free Radical Test kit tests urine for Malondialdehyde (MDA), a by-product of free radical activity, in the body. It is more accurate
(50 times) than checking blood as the body removes MDA from the blood quickly through the kidneys into the urine. Besides, this is a
simpler test and non-invasive.
Osumex’s Free Radical Test is a simple, inexpensive, easy to use kit which provides result in minutes. The test can be done at the user’s
leisure at home. There is no need to send away or wait anxiously for the results to be returned.
Excessive free radicals cause a lot of health issues including dementia, arthritis, cancers, aging, etc. It is therefore important to
check for free radical activity in the body regularly and where excessive activity is found, steps must be taken to control and or reduce
such activity through diet or supplementation.

ADRENAL FUNCTION URINE TEST
The Osumex Adrenal Function Urine Test is a simple home test for the function of the user's adrenals. It checks the user's urine for salt
content and from there be able to ascertain if the adrenals are "hyper", "normal" or "fatigued". This will allow the user to take the
necessary action to correct "hyper" or "fatigued" adrenals with supplementation and or diet. This is important to maintain good health
aa the adrenals are also linked to the function of the thyroid glands.
Determination of the salt content in urine is based on the reaction of silver ions with chloride ions and silver chloride is precipitated
quantitatively. The end point of the reaction is made visible by the presence of the activator. During the test, the urine sample remains
light to dark yellow. When the urine sample turns to a light brown hue (see image), the test is complete. It is important to count the
number of drops of indicator added. Once this colour is achieved, addition of more indicator will cause the colour to darken.
A trial sample of 1% NaCl is provided so that the user can practise to recognise the colour change for the completion of the test.

SULKOWITCH URINE CALCIUM TEST
The Osumex Sulkowitch Urine Calcium Test is a simple home test for the presence of calcium in urine using a simple titration procedure.
The test measures calcium being excreted from the body. Calcium absorption depends on the acidity of the stomach, as well as a number of
other co-factors including the amount of phosphate present, and takes place in the upper intestine.
Calcium is the most common mineral in the body and one of the most important. The body needs it to build and fix bones and teeth, help nerves
work, make muscles squeeze together, help blood clot, and help the heart to work. Almost all of the calcium in the body is stored in the
bones. The rest is found in the blood.
Normally the level of calcium in the blood is carefully controlled. When blood calcium levels get low (hypocalcemia), the bones release
calcium to bring it back to a good blood level. When blood calcium levels get high (hypercalcemia), the extra calcium is stored in the bones
or passed out of the body in urine and stool. The amount of calcium in the body depends on the amount of:
- Calcium you get in your food.
- Calcium and vitamin D your intestines absorb.
- Phosphate in the body.
- Certain hormones, including parathyroid hormone, calcitonin, and estrogen in the body.
- High calcium levels in the urine can cause kidney stones.
Vitamin D and these hormones help control the amount of calcium in the body. They also control the amount of calcium you absorb from food
and the amount passed from the body in urine. The blood levels of phosphate are closely linked to calcium levels and they work in opposite
ways: As blood calcium levels get high, phosphate levels get low, and the opposite is also true.

10-P (PARAMETERS) URINE ANALYSIS
The Osumex 10-P Urine Analysis pack checks for 10 parameters in urine. These are:
bilirubin, blood, glucose, ketone (acetoacetic acid), leukocyte, nitrite, pH, protein, specific gravity and urobilinogen
It is a very useful test as an early warning sign for health problems in the body:
- a positive reading for glucose suggests the potential for onset of adult (type-2) diabetes (diabetes mellitus)
- a positive reading for bilirubin and urobillinogen indicates liver problems
- a positive reading for blood and protein indicates kidney issues
- a positive reading for nitrite and leukocyte suggests bladder infection
and readings of the other parameters will provide indications of potential of other health issues.

OSUMEX pH INDICATORS
The Osumex pH Indicator stripes are easy to use at home. It is important to check the pH of the body using both saliva and urine on a
regular basis. "True Health Lives in an Alkaline State".
pH (potential of Hydorgen) is a measure of the acidity or alkalinity of a solution. It is measured on a scale of 0-14. The lower the pH
the more acidic the solution and the higher the more alkaline (or base). When a solution is neither acidic nor alkaline, it has a pH 7
which is neutral.
The optimum range of pH for the body is between 6.8 to 7.5. pH readings of 5 or less suggests serious health issues such as cancers,
cardiovascular problems, etc. Where the pH measured is low, the user needs to correct the body's pH through supplementation and or diet.
